March 6, 200917 yr im talking about the one near ur run energy at the top etc, i have never understood why it deceases, as it has no effect on the familiar, is it just another way of seeing how long ur familier's time is left ? =D> , lol its weird being 52 summon and not understanding the skill lmao!
March 6, 200917 yr Summoned familiars now remain for an extended time and do not require renewal. Summoning points are used as a continuous drain, like prayer. These points do not restore themselves - a summoning potion or a visit to a summoning obelisk is needed. Think of it like Prayer Points. I suggest you also read up on the guide in either Tip.it or the Knowledge Base to further your understanding. ;)
March 6, 200917 yr They simply drain while you have a familiar out. Say the familiar you're trying to summon requires an initial 8 points, if you have less, you can't summon it, so you use potions to restore your level. That's it, it just forces you to use super restores/summoning potions. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
March 6, 200917 yr It decreases so you cant summon a bunch of familiars without restoring your points. For example, if I summon a bunyip, I lose 7 points and if my summoning points stayed at 61 the entire time it was out, I could summon 8 more bunyips without ever having to recharge my summoning points.
