God its been ages since I've had a pure. I've just started up a range pure called Whowantscaek (:B) but I don't know what stats to get. From what I recall from the good ol' times, a good range pure would have high range, and about 20-50 defence or something like that. What would be the most effective levels to use?

as much range as possible for under 55 combat, could go dominate low level bounty hunter

 

 

 

Im not an expert on true pures, but I dont think it would be advisable to get defense above 40 unless you intend to max out.

My range tank dominates no defense pure that are 5 or more levels higher than me. (I just never win because they are all safers who can't take it in the (butt).

Okay thank you both. Can somebody tell me what stats to get? Obviously I should get up to 99 range. How high defence, any attack or strength? And what about prayer?

and i do ok while pking, ide say get around 50-60 range then train mage , (the no hitpoints method) then get 31-43 pray

I was going to get 26 prayer for hawk eye. Im lvl 4 now. Should I just go to 10 for steel skin or should I go ahead with hawk eye at 26?
