On slayer task if you have slayer helm, bring it. And no you don't need waterskins...though maybe one for getting there.

I would highly recommend using the dust devils in chaos tunnels. They are non aggressive and a hell of a lot easier to get to.

Don't use the smoky well. It's completely obsolete now. Use Chaos tunnels, they're a hell of a lot better. They're easier to get to, close by in case you die, and if you're into it, there's many more people you can talk to; the cavern supports about 3 people.

Just bring regular slaying armor. They really aren't that tough, and their max hit is eight. Wear face mask/slayer helm, of course, and wear Torag's top and bottom. Every other piece of equipment should focus on attack bonuses.
