I think deleting an account based on those terms is much too harsh. While it is a bit disheartening to see your rather cleverly thought up name is already taken, you got to realize someone was quicker to the draw . However, I do agree with your point that such clever names are sadly never used and therefore almost pointless to create. In my opinion, if you are going to go so far as spend an hour thinking up witty and hilarious names, why not share your hard work by releasing your creation on the world :D. I for one cannot help but stop what I'm doing when I see names that are truly unique and give me a chuckle.

Ladies and Gentlemen... let's give this poster a round of applause.

HaHa this has to be thread of the year...

We have numerous people saying "i quit runescape for a year and don't wan't to lose my account"

We have others with "mywebsearch" toolbars in their posted screenshots, Almost every few posts look like they have been compiled by Peter Griffin.

If a toon has been used to hog a username, delete it I say.

The OP has explained in his post how he "thinks" it should be done, and you can either discuss it like some have or ignore the post totally, but please READ the freaking post first, read it 3 times then ask in help and support if you don't understand it.

The OP was stating it might be a good idea to delete accounts who meet the following criteria...

A: User has not completed tutorial Island

b: User has not logged in for 6 months

I think it's pretty obvious these are "unplayed" accounts, and wipe them off.

Now I will go a bit further and suggest accounts that don't meet the following are also Deleted

c: Has less than 100 xp

d: Has less then 50gp

e: Has no rares or expensive items

d: Has not logged in for 1 year

There we go, you could even say you don't agree with what the op is saying or anyone else who has chipped in with some decents reply, but please don't say things like "this is ghey cus my lvl 136 would be banned" you just look stupid.

And for people who have created accounts after July 2008 when tutorial island was changed delete them too if they have not finished the new Tutorial thing, people who created accounts before july 2008 still have to complete Tuorial Island.

I agree except for E. Isn't that against the rules? If it is then I don't think Jagex should have mercy on their account.

Accounts that haven't finished the tutorial island and have not been logged into for 4 years is a little silly.
