i dont like the game but the trading system is soo much better then runescape.

 

 

 

it works like this:

 

 

 

all players can open there own little shop. U put in the items what u want to sell and u typ a price u want for it. Then u can typ a text that appears above ur head. like: selling rune pl8 - 80k. the tekst stays there, so u dont have to typ the text 500 times.

 

 

 

So the ppl who wants to buy something just look around in the bank reading all the texst and chooses someone to trade with and can just buy it without talking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if u want to trade the item hes selling to an item of urs, u can always trade him the normal way and talk easy cuz noone is spamming the sreen all the time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

what u think about that? would make trading waay easyer

So, if there was a little "shop" as you say, you could list what you're selling. Then, buyers could click and open up a window that lists the sellers and what's being sold. No, bonzaii...what Lpinkus was trying to say, was that the screen would be so overly flooded that it would block view of mostly the entire screen. You couldn't see other people well, nor would all the texts appear entirely. It would just be utter chaos. Ever been to World 2 Falador? Yeah...it'd be like that....but in EVERY world.

yah ok, then the idea of the market where u can put ur things in and get money automaticly when its sold would be the best then. Then could make a whole building with a store for mining, smithing, crafting, armoury, runes, ...

Okay, the huge hole is that there would be HUNDREDS of little shops, to the point where finding what you wanted would be near impossible. How about have the little shops, then you select the item you are looking to buy through menus. For a rune plate it would be

When you click on Platemail, it would say: "The following players are selling a rune plate, (List names and prices here) Upon clicking the name you would open his little shop, and be able to buy the plate :)

This sounds good, I'd like to see these changes come to Runescape trading because quite frankly the system right now is just too inconvenient. Look at this example: A certain player, let's call him Bob :P walks to a bank looking to buy a rune platebody. He sees a seller for 70k and buys it, but straight afterwards he sees someone selling it for 60k....... Annoying ain't it?

Heh, Glad you like it. Prices ranging in order would be a good idea too. This idea would be great as we could just leave our items to sell themselves, and when they are sold you just get a message in chatbox :) You would probably need to have a "Kielmccaul75 has offered you 6 Million for your Guthans Plate, Accept/Decline" thing going on as well, so we could still haggle ;)

I understand this frustration, but the "inconvenience" you described is important to the economy. People should lose or gain 10k now and then. I feel it keeps things interesting. Prices are already pretty stable. If they were set in stone for extended periods of time, I think it would be a bit boring.

This trading system reminds me of Everquest. Before they had a system like this, it was all one big place everyone hung around yelling out loud like Runescape is now. High prices were kind of often and sometimes you would get ripped. After the system was made, pretty much all the prices for different stuff rounded off because you could see all the prices being offered for that particular item. And like you mentioned, people wanting to sell fast would have to sell less. The people who were more attuned to the market could sell slightly higher, wait for days and finally get that sell.

that would be fantastic.. thats kind of how the World Of Warcraft auction house runs. you go through and look for the specific armor or thing you want . i really wish jagex would look into doing this for runescape. would make the world of scammers go bye bye 8)

Hmm, like many RPG's I have played. Especially Knight Online. This would be great but it would slow down alot of things.

i like the way they do it in wow i have never played the game but i believe they have an aution house where ppl bid on things for a certain amount of time the highest bidder wins it would stop scams (unless you can hack the game)
