hey, my current computer is really old, is slow, and cannot run rs in hd, so i'm going to be building a new computer in the near future and i'm just wondering what the basic AND recommended requirements are, to run RS in HD; how fast of a processor, how much RAM, and which video cards and their specifications are good for doing so...and anything else i should know.

 

 

 

oh btw, im not building a new computer JUST to play runescape, i'll probably do some gaming as well, just not too hardcore-ish...i'm getting really sick of this piece of junk computer :evil: :D

Just get something to be able to run most games out right now and you'll easily be able to play rs in hd mode.

This is quoted directly from the RS site:

 

 

 

"Check that your computer meets the minimum requirements for high detail.

 

RuneScape High Detail requires 256Mb RAM, a 1.5Ghz processor and a graphics card at least equivalent to Nvidia GeForce 3."

If you can build a new pc without it being able to run hd then I'd say that's pretty much an achievement.
