March 19, 200917 yr they work, people tend to use the c bow as its a little stronger and they can use broad bolts. Some people use the obby throwing rings instead, but yes knives will work. March 19, 200917 yr While I have not tried them myself I have been there with people trying black knives and they don't hit well. Stick with the rune crossbow. quit

The important thing is the effect of the combination of those two; i.e. kill speed. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
