Whats the best Way to Grab that 99 Fishing cape?

Well tbh the best way to grad it is with 99k in your inventory, walk up to the fishing guild master, and pay for it. :lol:

 

 

 

But to get there i would do monkfish. They are pretty decent and since you dont want to do those 2 methods, this is about the 3rd fastest.

 

 

 

Edit: And use a granite lobster, those little boosts it gives help, and the raw swords and sharks he gathers really add up.

And since he doesnt want to fly fish, or heavy rod fish, isnt that his only choice for speed?

Fly fishing is only 10% faster and a quarter of the profit mons would yield. Stick to piscatoris until 99 and use either an ibis or granite lobster familiar while either using fish potions or admiral pies.

 

 

 

I get around 35k xp and 110k gp per hour at monks with pies and ibis at 93 fishing.

 

Fly fishing is closer to 40k xp and 30k gp per hour at Shilo with the same set-up.

 

 

 

Do not bother with cage lobsters, tunas/swords and sharks. trust me I tested them all.

Since you can't test granite lobsters, i'll tell you right now, they are a lot better then ibis. Besides being good fishing helper, they are the best thing to make for thier levels for summoning. I got about 60 raw sharks using them to get 77-78 fishing, so they pay for themselves.
