woopidoo2
I have something that I cant solve myself, so I hope you can. I want to buy Call of Duty 4, mainly to play Multiplayer with. So I have found this original copy online, someone is selling it second hand for about half of the store-price. He claims that he has never used the key-code, due to internet problems from his side. He says he has bought CoD5 so CoD4 became useless to him, because he cant use CoD4. He has entered the keycode about 5 times, but he could not get Multiplayer to work. My question: Would I be able to play it online with his keycode, since he has never got it to work? I dont want to end up buying this game, to find out that the key doesnt work on my computer. Help please? :) [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]
Nadril
It's tough to say if it was a problem with the CD Key or if it was a problem with his computer. Honestly I wouldn't really trust buying it online from someone.

Honestly I wouldn't really trust buying it online from someone. This pretty much sums it up. For something as cheap as a game, it honestly isn't worth it when you don't know for sure it will work, and you can't return stuff you buy on ebay. ;) "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
Dracion1
+1. You should be able to pick up CoD4 relatively cheap now anyway, not worth the risk of buying it online and finding it doesn't work. woopidoo2
Thanks everyone, I decided to buy an unused example. This seller had never un-wrapped it, he got it as a birthday gift but he discovered that the didnt have enough hard disk memory to install it :D [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]
Deadliest
Yeah, good thing you did that, the keycode would probably not have worked. During your life, never stop dreaming. No one can take away your dreams" - Tupac Amaru Shakur
