What should I wear when attempting a fire cape, inventory would help too. stats in sig.

Use Barrows Gloves or if you don't have them, Black D'hide Vambs...

 

I would also suggest using granite sheild. You could also bring both and use the book whenever your not vulnerable to damage.

Don't have barrows gloves, prolly not gonna get anytime soon. The reason my freind told me to use Regen brace is because it gives decent bonuses and helps restore my hitpoints.

If I wanted to use the blood burst method what would my inventory be?

 

Bringing the granite shield could help alot, but the book is full and gives prayer bonus and good ranged attack bonus. The shield would protect me from those pesky 180's. The 1 inventory space taken by bringing both could be the difference of beating jad or losing. :?

Go with the granite shield, but its that level 90s you want to watch out for.

The ranger ones, I remember them being level 180. I guess I don't remember well. :

i normally come out of the fight caves with around 8 super restores, but occasionally low on brews if i mess up, so takes whatever suits you best

What your friend suggested is fine. Guthan just slows things down, don't bother with it.

 

My inventory looks like:

 

3 range pots (4)

 

100 diamond bolts (e)

 

16 Super restores

 

8 Saradomin brews
