I am an American, looking for a way to pay for membership. I want to buy a gift card, however it seems there are none that Jagex accepts.

 

 

 

Could someone tell me which Debit/Gift cards work with Jagex, here in the US.

 

 

 

I've tried Visa's and American Express.

i had the same problem...i just ended up paying a bit more and mailing my money in

The Ultimate Game Card or the Runescape giftcard available at Target. The first being available at Military PXs, Walmart, 7/11, and various other areas.

I'm going to look for the UGC at my Walmart, however last time I checked I don't remember seeing anything of that sort.

I've had a discussion with Jagex mods on this subject in the past.

 

 

 

From the US, a bank-issued debit card usually works, while a store-bought debit card usually doesn't. It has something to do with it being an international transaction.

 

 

 

That Ultimate Game Card can be bought from amazon also but the s/h is $5 :evil:

A friend of mine IRL bought the gamers card from wal mart (we are also in the states), and it worked great! I think this is the easiest way to go if you don't have an available bank account.
