Pyrelord increase the exp gained, but in the long run would make it longer to get seeing as you have to use each log on the pyrelord instead of clicking the tinderbox. Tinderbox being closer to the logs therefore easier to move between and making each load go by faster. I can't test that one myself, because my Summoning isn't high enough, and I'm not a member anymore. Or, you may have confused it with the new Offer X option for Player-Owned Houses' altars, when sacrificing bones.
