March 28, 200917 yr I think it's when you buy something, then you can't sell it at max price for some time. I've bought some stuff for clue scrolls and sold them right after i didn't need them anymore and they sold right away (min price).

If you buy ANY item from Grand Exchange, OR from another player via trade, you CANNOT sell that particular item at ALL for 4 hours. People who don't know this usually put the item on lowest and say omgwtfyitnosell, then they waste money selling it at lowest.
