Can't enter modem configuration page

Featured Replies

I got the Gateway number, which was 24.166.96.1 and put it in the adress bar with http://

I no longer have my modem manual and its not wireless. Im just trying to enable my DHCP for my direct connection for Xbox Live.

Did you try your IP address? I though that was what you had to enter.

That just brought me to a search page just like the Subnet and Gateway codes did.

Try this: 192.168.1.1

Leave the username blank and the password is: admin

It would be 192.168.2.1.

But really, what you need is the default gateway, that's what you enter in the bar.

To know what it is, type ipconfig in the command prompt.

This is a PDF file of the internal LAN-IP address for most router brands and the passwords.
