April 14, 200917 yr I am planning on soloing bandos a lot since I got a yak now, and is wondering which out of the 3 methods is the best. Please don't answer based on what others say, but with your personal experience (4+ trips please). I tried whip and gs, but I never really 'tested' them, and haven't even tried with veracs.
April 14, 200917 yr Whip + defender is the best for solo, i tested and it really is. Verac's idk, cause never tested... GS is slow, but hit highs.

Because compfreak says it is, i keep everything about rates he says in a little diary and read it daily and go preach to everyone with a slayer cape that they wasted soo much time and that I keep mass F5'ing the real life picture thread so i can see him irl No because I tried it. April 14, 200917 yr With my stats: GS - 2 kills. Whip + defender - 3 kills. Also i used torto here, with yak you'll do more :thumbup:
April 14, 200917 yr I prefer gs over all. But at 95+ attack a whip is better (this comes from several members of my gwd clan also saying this). And also I don't know why everyone says veracs is garbage, it's not bad but it's not great.
April 14, 200917 yr It's inferior to the whip, which costs less and allows you to wear any equipment you want rather then the Verac's set. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

April 14, 200917 yr I hate to hijack, but this is a fitting question for this thread: Is whip better at all levels, or is there a certain attack level at which whip becomes better? (Read: is using a whip better at 90 attack, my level?) If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

Still, I see no reason why it would be inferior at any level.
