Ancient Magicks-Zuriel's Staff

I noticed on the ancient Magicks guide with the images showing how each different type of spell is shown: Smoke,shadow,ice,blood and teleports. Now since Jagex how bought back PVP on special worlds and the new armour/weapon sets, I thought it might be an good idea to add a picture of the Miasmic spell to the current pictures so people can see what it looks like. It doesn't have to be added I just thought it was a good thought. Maybe someone could get a picture like the ones shown on the actual Ancient Magicks guide

This is how to post a picture on this forum:

 

• Take a picture (duh :P)
   
  Go to any picture upload site. Most used are

http://www.tinypic.com and http://www.imageshack.us.
 
Upload the image.
 
Use the copy paste the "direct link" to a forum post.
 
Put Img brackets around the direct link, like this

I like hiding things in "hide tags", but your image appears small...is that how it was sized on upload or is it just my computer playing tricks on me?

I think we're going totally into the wrong direction ATM. We already got a picture of the staff itself (http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=8039). I think Lood's original idea was to post a picture of how the spell looks. This is an amazing idea in my eyes, however I don't own such a staff, nor do I know anyone who does. Because of this, I doubt we'll be able to put the right picture there any time soon. Sorry.

 

 

 

However, we greatly like input like this, so if you got more ideas, don't hesitate to post them.

Yeah I've seen the item under the Item database. and yes I was meant to say it would be nice if we could have a picture on the magic guild guide under the ancient magic section, where the animations of each of the different types of spells are. I would take a picture myself but I'm still learning the basics of how to crop the pictures and get them into the forums. But I will see what I can do

Yeah was just experimenting really, still trying to figure things out but all will come in due course. Yeah I do believe I made the image rather small and there does seem to be a lot of white background around the image itself

 

 

 

EDITED: I finally figured it out,but there's too much white background around the picture itself.

Don't worry, as long as it's the right zoom, especially not too small, we can deal with it. Just post it with the white background.

I realise you are new to pictures, and they are a challenge to learn at first. I'll just add the suggestion that if you DO get an action picture, save it as a .PNG file. JPG files from most software are too fuzzy to be used on our website. However, the effort to show what you mean is very much appreciated.

Yeah I did mean pictures of the staves in action (sorry if there was any confusion there), Think I'm going try and buy one of the staves now even though they are quite costly but it's worth a try. I will just have to experiment a while until I get it spot on. Thanks for the help

OK Here goes, bought the Zuriel's Staff Corrupted, just hope the images are good enough to include into the guide. They look rather grainy even though I did change them all into PNG's instead Of JPEG's. They aren't exactly the best images I have ever taken, but I was trying on moving monsters instead of a standing person.

Yeah I know what you mean the pictures are of a rather large size and aren't exactly the best screen shots I could take. Maybe I could have done what the person/people did with the other spell pictures at the Duel Arena. I was thinking maybe we should get someone with at least some good experience to get us the screen shot we need even though they need to have a Zuriel/Corrupted Zuriel's Staff. Then we can let them get the credit for there work getting the spell picture into the Ancient Magic guide section. Yeah do feel free to move this to the main forums :)

Thanks, Yeah I used up the staff after the 15 minutes of game play but can easily buy another one. I think I still need some practice uploading the images and getting an perfect image still though.

The 15 minutes will be plenty.
