Hey guys, I was wondering how to train a range tank ( fresh start ). Do you train using bow/arrows ( but in longrange mode)? Or... :? ( this acc gonna be F2P).

 

 

 

Any other tips on making a range tank (guides would be nice) please post it.

I say as long as you have the levels, it doesn't really matter how you get there. You'll have the same HP level whether you raise it through longrange or if you did rapid and then went and meleed for the defense experience. (or atleast I'm pretty sure you will)

Don't use longrange. Get 40 attack and however high strength you want and use melee to train def.

Lets say ill get 40attack 40str and 40def and highest range i can get. Won't that mess up My cb?

Attack and strength don't raise your combat if you have a high enough ranged level, same for magic.

 

 

 

For example:

 

 

 

40 attack, strength, defence

 

60 ranged, magic, hitpoints

 

44 prayer

 

=Combat level 59

 

 

 

1 attack, strength, magic

 

40 defence

 

60 ranged, hitpoints

 

44 prayer

 

=Combat level 59

 

 

 

Train at least magic, as long as your ranged level is as high or higher than your magic it won't affect your combat. 40 attack + strength can help with defence training A LOT.

No, you'll only get more hp levels. You need 4 hp levels to gain 1 roughly full combat level (ex. from 54.7 to 58.7), so you'll gain like 1-3 combat levels then.
