This is gonna be my first try at a story, tell me what you think. Hope u enjoy it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This story takes place in the past, say 20 years before current RS time.

Part 1: The Blacksmith.

As Johnny, the blacksmith, walked down the Falador streets with his cane, he wondered where the time had gone. He was not just a mere blacksmith, but a legendary blacksmith. He had the power to make cities, create the ultimate weapons, and other blacksmithy things. He preferred to live in secret though, in a small cave hidden in the dwarven tunnels, near the anvils. He only rarely appeared above ground. When people did see him, though, he was so wrinkled and old looking, people said he was immortal. Nobody actually knows. Not even him. And he looked nothing like the blacksmiths of modern time. In fact, he looked so normal (except for his exceptionally pale skin,) that nobody would have guessed he built the whole city of Falador, AND moved the party room there.

Johnny was on his way to meet his friend, the Gypsie, in Varrock. He wouldn't, of course, be walking such a long distance. He would use his pet minotaur made out of pure runite. As the minotaur ran up to the Gypsie's tent, the Gypsie walked out of the tent. "I've been expecting you," she said. "I watched you with my crystal ball."

"Speaking of your crystal ball, I need to see if something is true. Mind if I use it?" Said Johnny.

"Of course not. Do go ahead."

As Johnny looked into the ball, he frowned and said, "Oh dear... this is not good..."

"What, darling?" asked the Gypsie.

"My worst fears are confirmed," said Johnny. "The demon is back."

"Surely you don't mean... Raklak?"

"Unfortunately, yes. I need to go find The Savior once again. Wish me luck!"

As the Gypsie watched him ride away on his minotaur, she whispered, "Please come back safe..."

Part 2: The Savior.

Johnny realized even if he DID find The Savior, he would still need to make the sword, All Demons' Bane. Last time he was lucky, and The Savior had the materials with him. This time, he probably wouldn't be so lucky. Which should he do first, find The Savior or the materials? He decided with The Savior. He pretty much knew where the materials were, so it should be easy enough. "Now for some help from the Karamjians." said Johnny.

He rode his minotaur to Karamja, and got a locating crystal from Trufitus. He looked into it...He felt slightly evil as his prayer was drained from his very being. He felt out of body...

He appeared in a familiar port, with a young boy and his apparent dad. He was fishing, for that was apparently to be his trade, judging by the barrels of fish and bait near him. His dad was congratulating him on catching a whopping big swordfish. He realized this was Port Sarim. "Ah, luckily not a very long way. His inexperience may be a problem... although he'll appear much different with the blade in his hands..."

He rushed over to the port/market near Draynor on his minotaur, knocking aside goblins and highwaymen. He saw the boy and his father, where he saw them in the crystal. He asked to talk to the boy's father, in private. The boy wasn't one to follow orders, however, so he followed them behind the gem store. His father was weeping, and the old man looked depressed. He was about to reveal himself and ask what the matter was, but the minotaur looked over at him and growled. The old man looked that way. The boy expected the senior to whack him, but he just walked over and told him the situation. The boy realized this could mean his death, but he was willing to do it...

Part 3: The Sword.

"Where are we going?" asked the boy, who's name he revealed to Johnny as Amik Varze.

"For the tenth time, it's a secret! I'm going to need you to stay behind when we're near. Ah! Here we are... the checkpoint. Stay back, Amik, and don't move!"

Johnny walked on toward a misty cave. "Who does he think he is? I'm going with him!" said Amik.

Johnny approached the cave cautiously. Even though he knew what was here, he was still spooked by what was hidden in the fog. "You've come to me again, eh blacksmith?" growled a gravely voice. "Don't tell me he's back already?"

"Unfortunately, yes, Raklok. You're brother is back."

"Well, help yourself to my materials. Anything to keep him from getting in to this realm again."

Amik heard all of this, but he wasn't sure what to make of it. He decided to listen to the old man, and ran back to the checkpoint and waited for Johnny. Johnny came back with a golden metal filling his hands. "C'mon, Amik, let's get moving. We need to get to my home to make the sword properly."

They rushed back to Falador, into the dwarven tunnels. He smelted the gold into a sword shaped piece of metal, and attached a pommel made of dragon scales. He made Amik leave the cave, and he enchanted the blade with a magical spell only the most arcane wizard know.

Part 4: The Banishing.

They walked back to Varrock, with a dreary feeling over them. Even the minotaur looked less mean then usual. They arrived at the Gypsie's tent, and she told them to say a certain spell so they could reach the realm he was in to keep him from reaching this realm. They said the magical incantation, and they appeared in a barren wasteland, filled with darkness and an evil feeling. "Ah...it's good to be home," said Johnny, with a red, evil look in his eyes. "I just can't get enough of it."

"Johnny...?" stuttered Amik, fear in his voice. "What's wrong with you?"

The evil came away from Johnny's eyes, and he said, "Amik, the demon is inside of me. He always has been. I needed to come here to keep him from emerging out in Gielenor! Now, strike me!" As he saw Amik hesitate, he added, "Do it now!!!"

Amik raised his blade and curved it down onto Johnny's head. But Johnny wasn't Johnny anymore. He had transformed into a red demon, 20 times bigger then Amik. The young boy brought his sword back up. The demon reared his head and screamed in an unearthly voice, "Freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Amik lunged at the demon's leg, but it had no effect whatsoever. "I'm going to need to reach his head for the killing blow..." reasoned Amik. "But how?"

Amik looked at the minotaur, waiting near the entrance of the realm. "Hmmm...." thought Amik. "Com'ere, boy!"

The minotaur ran forward, and Amik told him what to do. The minotaur growled his approval, threw his battleaxe into the creatures chest area, then started pulling out throwing axes and launching them up and down the creatures body. The demon didn't like this, so he smacked aside the minotaur. Amik realized he was on his own.

Thinking of how this might end, he climbed nimbly up the thrown axes as if they were stepping stones, up and up the creatures body, all the while dodging fierce claws. He reached the huge battleaxe, covered in cuts and bruises and a broken arm. Amik raised his golden sword in his weaker, left hand, and brought his sword down for the finishing strike against the creature's neck. A night black liquid poured out of the gaping wound, covering Amik in the slime. The demon shrieked, "No! Not again! Noooooooooo!!!" and started shrinking. He eventually shrunk down to man size, and reformed into Johnny. The young hero picked up Johnny, dragged him across the minotaurs back, and silently walked with the unconcious body and the minotaur out of that realm.

Description is very lacking. Also you should indent whenever a new person speaks.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
