Don't you get sick of having to look through all the posts you have made, and the posts you have commented on, which are all mixed together when you press the 'View your posts' button, when you only want to see the topics that you have created?

 

 

 

I suggest that after you press the 'View your Posts' Button, there would be two little boxes-on that page-that you could choose to check or not check: one would say "view your topics", and the other would say "view others' topics" (understood that they are other topics which you have already commented on). These boxes would both be left checked by default, but you could choose to uncheck one.

 

 

 

For example: you press the 'View your posts' button, here you see all the posts which you have commented on and posted yourself. You could either search through these posts, or if you only want to see the topics which you have created, you simply uncheck the "view other's topics" box and then you are left with only your topics. Or vice versa if you only want to see the ones that were created by other users.

 

 

So please tell me what you think, or if there are any ways it could be improved.

There's a subtle difference in my link - it only lists the topics made by the poster, not all the topics where he has posted.

Okay well I'll add the link to bookmarks, but I still would like what I suggested: it's simple, and I think other Forum Users besides myself would enjoy it. Yea it's true they could bookmark the link, but chances are they won't see this thread (and won't bookmark it) - resulting in them probably never even thinking about this simple filter I suggest that would (I think) be helpful.

I agree, a little link in the forum header wouldn't hurt.
