April 18, 200917 yr I want to get my fishing lvl to 80 and then cook the fish to get up cooking lvls. my fishing lvl is 68 and my cooking lvl is 75, so if i get 80 fishing and then cook the fish i should get around 83+in cooking. the method has to be in f2p as im f2p, i dont mind if i dont make a profit im just concerned about the speed of the method. i was thinking that fishing salmon and trout at barbarian village was quickest but i wasnt sure, so ur thoughts and suggestions plz
April 18, 200917 yr Fastest fishing is Fly Fishing Fastest cooking is swordfish, although at low levels you might consider salmon, tuna, or lobbies since you'll burn them less. If you're just after xp though, do swordfish after 84 (that's when you stop burning them). Since you're only going for 80, do salmon until 60-whatever-it-is-to-stop-burning-tuna, then tuna to 74, then lobbies to 80. ~It's Super Effective! April 20, 200917 yr which is the fastest method for fishing to 80?Fastest fishing experience is going to be fly fishing. For speed, you can drop your load, or if you want the cooking experience either bring an axe and tinder box or go to the never ending fire just north west of the spot. In Barbarian Village that is. He is right. If you are going for both stats, you might as well cook it on the spot. You'll save money and since cooked food is worth less than raw, you can trade away more of it and have to drop less. ~It's Super Effective! April 21, 200917 yr Author What so i should fish salmon and trout then cook them then trade them for free or drop them? But if i fish alot of them and i bank them then wont they give a good profit at the G.E? Cos it would nice to get some money as well instead of just dropping them or giving it to ppl for free, even if that is slightly quicker. will banking them take much longer than dropping or trading?
April 21, 200917 yr lobster/swordfish This is wrong and stupid and just wronggggg in so many ways. In the first place at his level he would be burning to many Swordies to make it affective, lobsters are okay but still very costly. If youre looking to get them up fast without spending money i would suggest fishing trout/salmon, cook and drop. Its the fastest method in F2P. You could always just powerfish trout/salmon, drop them and buy the trout and salmon you wish to cook but this might coz a few k. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
April 21, 200917 yr Author is it alot quicker to drop them, then to bank them, cos if it is only a bit quicker then i would prefer to bank them and then cook them later and then sell.but if it is much slower then i might as well fish, cook, drop.
April 21, 200917 yr My preferred method in f2p is to fly fish in Lumby. Pack an axe and tinderbox, and cook when full. Run to the general store, sell the fish, and run back. Quicker than banking in barb village, and less annoying than dropping a full inv of fish. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
