April 24, 200917 yr Hi, Ok I got lucky at the GWD and I not have about 3m to spend on training. My goals are to eventually gain the quest cape, but I've split them down to the following as a short term goal; Complete RfD - only have the monkey left - Best way to train cooking to 70 Defender of Varrock - Hows best to train smithing from 41, hunting from 47 Dealing with Scabaras - How hard is the contact boss battle and hows best to train from 53 to 60? Lunar Diplomacy - Best way to train crafting In short. 1) How hard is the boss battle in Contact? 2) Cooking from 58 to 70 and is boosting from 66 possible? And 58 to 80 (for sharks) 3) Smithing 41 to 54 4) Hunting 47 to 51 5) Thieving 53 to 60 6) Crafting 57 to 61 7) How much is this going to cost? I was thinking 2) Tuna then lobsters at 68. 3) Steel arrow heads 4) Orange salamanders 5) PP? 6) Green vamps [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
April 24, 200917 yr 1) How hard is the boss battle in Contact? 2) Cooking from 58 to 70 and is potting from 66 possible? And 58 to 80 (for sharks) 3) Smithing 41 to 54 4) Hunting 47 to 51 5) Thieving 53 to 60 6) Crafting 57 to 61 7) How much is this going to cost? 1)Hes quite easy i think when i did it 2)you can't pot cooking unless you mean fishing, id do lobsters. You can do tuna if you want, id personally catch lobsters and cook em and sell em for a large profit 3)Smithing im not really sure but at 48 you could alch the steel bodys for a bit if you mine the coal 4)Hunter - look at this guide viewtopic.php?f=180&t=614868 5)Thieving from Tip it 40-55 Masterfarmers are a great way to get to 55. Except for Martin the Master Gardener, they are a one-click pickpocket. Seeds stack, but if your pack is full you can't get a seed you're not already carrying. Since you can't accidentally attack masterfarmers and no one can kill them, the sole drawback is that the loot is entirely seeds - but that's good for your farming! Guards are a simple but slightly annoying way to get to 55. Just either use Varrock castle (with a few hundred lobs) or Ardougne if you want to steal cakes for food. You could try Fremenniks at level 45, but the "talk to Fremennik" option makes them a bit hard to thieve fast. Many can be trapped in a house for easy thieving. Fish stolen from the market stall can be cooked in the nearby longhall to restore your hp. Fremenniks can be faster exp than guards, overall. 51-99 Pyramid Plunder is one of the best ways to train thieving. At level 51 you can access up to level 4 in the pyramid, this is a good level to start in the pyramid as you will start to fail less. As your thieving level increases, the best technique is to search for snakes, then loot the urns in the last two rooms you can access. Opening the sarcophagus will slow you down during your run and is not recommended when training. 6)green vamps all the way 7)Depends if you get all the supplies yourself or you buy it all. Depends if its selling at minimum or max etc. Proud Warlord of DragonwoodIf it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how? ~ Joan Baez Rest in Peace 3xtermination
April 24, 200917 yr Author Thanks red_Fat1. By potting I meant boost chefs delight (I've not changed the post accordingly). Looking into it I think it might be much cheaper then I thought. April 24, 200917 yr Thanks red_Fat1. By potting I meant boost chefs delight (I've not changed the post accordingly). Looking into it I think it might be much cheaper then I thought. Oh yeah i don't really worry about that since im 99 cooking. Its expensive if you buy everything but cheap if you get most of the 2nd's yourself. For example if you smith steel platebodys: high alchemy=1.2k per alch but if you buy all the items 10 coal=1790 5 iron ore=550 Gp +1 nature rune=230gp Total: 2570 gp per platebody 5 steel bars=3,125gp +1 nature rune=230gp Total: 3355 But if you mine the coal it costs 5 iron ore=550gp +1 nature rune=230gp Total= 780gp which means 420gp profit per steel platebody Proud Warlord of DragonwoodIf it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how? ~ Joan Baez Rest in Peace 3xtermination
April 24, 200917 yr Out of all the stats you need to get up to, I don't think it will cost you more than 5m and that's the MOST I can see it being. At these low of levels you can't be stingy with the money, you just gotta invest in yourself. All the ways you named should be fine for training as well. Though for smithing I think I did cannonballs. (Yes they take awhile and are slow exp but they are pure profit) Steel plates would be the fast way for you though, you can try that and alch the plates for some of the loss back. PP for thieving all the way and for hunting doing your best salamanders possible up to 63 was pretty fast for me. Contact boss fight was not hard at all, even though I do have 99 defence and 92 attack, I still think it would of been a breeze at lower levels. Apparently, my signature was to big.
April 24, 200917 yr 1) How hard is the boss battle in Contact? I found him very hard, I have no idea what combat level I was then, though. 2) Cooking from 58 to 70 and is boosting from 66 possible? And 58 to 80 (for sharks) Boosting from 66 is possible, I did it myself. 3) Smithing 41 to 54 No idea. 4) Hunting 47 to 51 Falconry, I guess. 5) Thieving 53 to 60 Maybe Pyramid Plunder if you think you can deal with the low amount of rooms. 6) Crafting 57 to 61 No idea. 7) How much is this going to cost? No idea. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
April 24, 200917 yr The contact boss was hard for my other account when I did it around lvl 100, but then again I did it on this account at 62 combat and did fine.
