Slayer dart's max is 20 with 99 magic, so you should hit around 14-16 with it at your magic level.

 

 

 

Fire bolt hits 15 max with Chaos gauntlets. Fire bolt don't rise much anymore, it's a low level spell but with Chaos gauntlets you hit more and accurate.

 

 

 

I am not sure which you should choose but:

 

 

 

1) Fire bolt let's you use Void Knight mace - that's +6 Prayer bonus.

 

2) Fire bolt is cheap and good experience as time passes.

 

 

 

So go with Fire bolt i would say, and if it don't give to great experience you can use Slayer dart.

Void Mace lets you do Fire Wave, not bolt :s Anny suggestions on another Staff i should use then?

If you don't care about Air rune cost, White staff has +1 prayer.

Toktz-mej-tal has 5+ prayer bonus and a crozier has 6+ prayer. I'm not sure if the crozier has the auto attack option though.

Crozier does have autocast all, but Obsidian staff is 2 handed. ;)

I don't mind it being 2-handed, aslong as its better than the Lava Staff im using now and aslong as it has Fire Bolt auto cast.

Use Air staff...the Air runes cost more.

3 Air runes * 13 = 39

 

 

 

4 Fire runes * 9 = 36

 

 

 

And then there are the runes used for alching. So i would save 3 gp per cast if i use air staff, but i will use 5 more fire runes every now and then making a fire related staff better.
