Money Making (F2P)

Featured Replies

I've changed my mind and decided to get members on my account Mastermonker instead of my character Kino5journey this weekend, i thought that it would be stupid to start over just cause i didn't like my chars name <3:

Well, to get to the point: How should i earn money in f2p? i won't become member yet, maybe in 3-4 days. So i need a good way to earn money in f2p except training melee cause i just sold my full rune to make my cash 2000k instead of 1888k

My stats is in my sig, hope someone can give me some advice on the topic

New-wave tried to destroy the metal, but the metal had its way

Grunge then tried to dethrone the metal, but metal was in the way

Punk-rock tried to destroy the metal, but metal was much too strong

Techno tried to defile the metal, but techno was proven wrong

Yea!Metal!

It comes from hell!

you could buy a lot of clay and when i mean a lot its a LOT and make it soft clay and then sell.

fishing or wc.

Both terrible options, mining is the only good way to make money in f2p, other than merchanting or lucky pking. The top 3 money-makers in f2p are rune, gold, and addy, in that order. That means mining makes the best money in f2p. Fishing and wc really can't compete.

My advice is to mine, then. Go down the list, Rune then Gold. You can pretty much ignore addy since gold is better. If you can't do either 3, then mine clay.

However, if your fishing is around level 80 and your mining is absurdly lower than it, then that's the only case when fishing lobs might be better money. At any other time, clay beats fishing if your fishing is lower. Clay always beats yews. Gold always beats lobsters, unless there's a really big difference (like 90 fishing and 50 mining).

Ive been fishing and ive got 138 tunas, 140 swordies and 113 lobs, gonna cook em now.

Fishing is laid back since i can write in the forums as i fish so its not as attention craving plus i will need the fish when i train in p2p, not a moneymaker but its atleast usefull. I might sell the food if i decide to go aviansies pretty early since i wont afford pray pots and such after buying my p2p gear back.

If it's money you're after though, don't cook those fish! Cooking is a pretty insignificant skill anyway.

Like zaaps1 said, get your unranked Mining up. Gold and the higher leveled ores are good moneymakers.

And by the way get your unranked Runecraft up :wall:

Fishing is horrible in f2p, i would cut yews.

If your patient enough to get your runecrafting up, gop tokens exchange for 124 each in p2p, pretty good money.

O.O

Mining gold ore isnt a bad option.

Well, you all got good options but i guess ill stick to fishing, i dont like clicking much and im gonna fish monks in p2p later so the cook and fish lvls will be needed. I sell my lobs in GE at lowest price so i make a small amount of cash, ive got 150 uncooked lobs sofar and i woke up 2-3 hours ago, i guess ill make it 1000 lobs today hopefully.
