April 30, 200917 yr Well i have about 15mil cash sitting in my bank. I already have the best armour i can afford so i thought i would treat myself to buying a GS once i have enough money. Since i like doind Bandos solo's i thought i would buy a GS for that specific matter, and maybe some Slayer later on. Quetion is, which GS would be the best for Bandos Solo. I know using a Whip + Def is probably the best but i am only going to use the GS as my spec weapon. So, keeping all of that in mind, what GS would be the best? April 30, 200917 yr Its really between either Bandos Godsword or Armadyl Godsword. For a bgs if you manage a decent hit on the special you would kill him quickly, but the ags if hit well on both special would probably help you more. I suppose bgs because you are the closest to getting one.

But i would choose this one: Bandos Godsword 40 Special with Bandos Godsword+Abyssal whip w/Rune defender+Good Solo Skills = DESTRUCTION! P.S Duo/Trio - AGS is best (Beats the competition you get from crashers). But if you want to get the best, then i would go with BGS spec+Abyssal whip w/Rune defender combo 8-) EDIT: I can assure you, if you duo/trio... This would be enough to biuy a BGS and put me almost within range of a AGS but for certain in range of a SGS. May 1, 200917 yr AGS is great, to win kills incase of crashers. But... If you team does this: 1) Fast spec of boss 2) Change to whip w/defender - ATTACK! Then you guys should have the big advantage. But without crashers around BGS SPEC IS GREAT TO USE! Abyssal whip w/Defender (Fast speed+accuracy)>Godsword (Slow speed+accuracy) So if AGS crashers appear, the only time they would have big advantage is: 1) When they can spec 2) When you guys attack boss late BGS SPEC FTW!!!!!!!!!! Whip/defender is a lot better if you solo, but for a team GS might be better :thumbup: I disagree. I know when we did Bandos teaming, i and others focused alot on defense. We did not realize how much the Rune defender attack bonus mattered. I seriously have not seen many players with Rune defender used at Bandos boss. From my view i would say that Abyssal whip w/Rune defender can be as successful in team as it is solo.

If you have 3 people spec with the AGS you can easily come close to taking half his HP in the first hit. On the topic: I've toyed with BGS and I like it for bandos atleast. If you get a special or 2 which hits on him then it makes the whole kill a lot easier. Also remember it counts as a bandos item so when you pray at the alter (1 extra prayer point on top of your max) or are getting KC it helps. AGS is a good way to win over crashers. But personally if there is no crashers into the picture, i would go with 3 bgs specers. That's way better from MY view 8-)
August 10, 200916 yr sometimes zammy gs is good for low def because u can freeze strong/graa to get away from them not many ppl like it but some prefer it
