mujammil Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 Yes i know there have been multiple threads on this so i will keep this short :) Since i'm buying 99 range and mage i will only have about 10m to buy a tanking setup, so for my level, 88 def and 92 range ( this will slowly rise ) What is the best setup for me to use? I will be using a yip and B2P, i will also be using a sup def pot so i wouldn't think i need too much def so could i use void here? That's it ta. Take a few bunyip pouches, some straw berries (baskets) and one or 2 B2P tabs. Your limited to arma pendant and zammy rune kite or unholy book. You have to stick to the west mid section to avoid others or you can try in the eyrie area, but there high level. I've tanked over 10k avians starting from when I was 90 def, and I will tell you that you will not need the bunyip or the super def pots if you wear torag's legs or bandos' tassets, blessed hide body, blessed bracers, an aramdyl helm, fury ammy, granite/obby shield. DO NOT wear d'hide legs and body at the same time unless you plan to be healing often. Bring a load of strawberry baskets when you first go there and you won't have to use a B2P tab for quite a while. I'm currently 95 defense and my setup is: Armadyl helm Fury Armadyl chestplate Bandos Tassets Ranger Boots Zammy Book Sara BRacers Archer's Ring and I maybe have to use a B2P tab ever 40-50 kills. Tanking makes it possible to take damage as well as deal it. Void lets you deal a lot of damage but you also seem to take a lot of damage. Thanks for reading his 10m budget, the tassets are over 10m to start with. Best of it is your setup is worse then mine. Yours gives 171 range bonus and 177 range defence. Mine gives 172 range bonus and 190 range defence. Yours costs about ~35m, mine costs only ~8.3m. Strange how you must be healing more using your setup then you would with mine using almost full dhide....
