obfuscator
It can work the other way too. Cwa w 141 left me wanting more, so I joined a real clan. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
Laikrob
Now lots of people that would previously join a clan can just go to world 141 and cw for a day with no commitment. It's the one night stand of the Rs world. I'm sorry, but that had me laughing and agreeing with you at the same time. You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

Beckingham
It's too bad that most people are ok with just the sample though, it's gotten to the point where a lot of people don't even know what you mean by "official clan". I agree, even when the Tipit vs Corr war was posted here, people had no idea what was going on. tttia
I have been gone for quite some time, and am just coming back now that the bh worlds look like a viable pk opportunity. But one of the changes that seem to effect clans too is the trade restrictions. It used to be if I was taking folks pking for the first time I could just give them a couple rune sets and then they had not risk. Now they have to fund their own rune and when they inevitably die right away they don't want to risk anymore. Also, with the new trade restrictions, is it even possible to loot share from pk trips? Seems like just the one who hits most on a team would get any loot ,whereas before we used to just divide up the spoils on some teams. Is there any kind of loot share feature for teams? Official clan support could help that a lot. I don't mind pking just for the fun, but for quite a few that doesn't seem all that great.
Sanctus_Petrus
Yea, lootshare/coinshare on pk trips would be nice. It would also be good having it so that the loot goes automatically to your bank regardless of its worth.
dv_trainer
Of course, even if the clan world is shrinking (responding to the original title) due to declined people, it hasn't really been the case for my clan - we're shrinking, but it's because of something else DoubleVision (ancient, no-name, clan of no return) is slumping because of lack of acceptance. We're not a big clan, and when we recruit people expect us to be different to what we are - we have a small, active userbase, who hasn't really had any events really. This is what is making our world smaller - that and the loss of 3 allies recently who closed just after we lost our alliances with them - and not our (actually) incredibly wide list of requirements (just don't be a jerk) We're building back up the way a clan should always build - the very way that makes the major clan world shrink means that the smaller clans will be growing. Can't say that's a bad thing - Junior Clans will be back, and that means diversity in the community. I like that Boom! Dead Shot
Dfdarkpyro
And my reply to this as before is maybe the RS world is shrinking and the clan world is shrinking with it. Say 10% of players were in clans before it's still probably around 10%. exactly. +2 [/bads]
