Right after entering the cave:

 

 

 

"Enter the Grotto and speak with Filliman."

 

 

 

However, one cannot, because he cannot be seen in the cave..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Enter the Grotto, and click the "search Grotto" option right in the middle and Filliman will appear. Talk to him.

I just did the quest and one cannot see the npc before searching the grotto.

Now I noticed something strange about him and his grotto. Before you cross/jump the bridge just south of his Grotto. If you hover your mouse and right click on the grotto it should have an enter option I think it is. But when you jump the bridge and try and enter it doesn't seem to let you get inside a few times

I dont know but i think the summoing alter that they put in there jacked up that area

 

after countless hours of wanting the ghost spirt to appear inside his grotto my friend told me i had to right click behind the alter (prayer) And he would appear Before you just prayed at the alter and he was there

Yeah I know there's problems trying to get inside the Grotto itself. Simply when you cross over the gap the enter grotto option is removed for some strange reason.

I noticed that too, until I discovered that you have to rightclick it in the middle while viewing from above?

I just kept entering and exiting the Grotto and he finally appeared. Wow, that must have been a pain waiting hours and hours for the Ghost spirit to appear

ok i have a question cus this is frustrating me, while i was fighting the ghasts i lost a lot of life, i jumped over the bridge just to fall in and die so i lost everything including my sickle, i bought another sickle but i cant continue the quest, what do i do? how do i get another blessed sickle? please help!!

Try the same steps you did to get the first sicle blessed. Talk to the npc's you had to talk to and get your ingredients.
