Nomrombom Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 Hey guys, I have 66 defense right now. I plan to get some barrows, probably Torag's and maybe Guthan's (probably not). I need 4 defense levels. I'd like to get them fairly fast. I have whip, rune defender, rune plate and legs, berserk helm, glory, Crest gaunts, rune boots. I have proselyte for a near altar method. Can anyone suggest something? I've been looking at AA gorillas, do I just go to Ape Atoll with my greegree and walk there? Or do I HAVE to tele? (I can't tele). Or is it not worth it? Thanks. Johannas Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 I don't think AA gorillas would be very effective for you as you don't have very good offensive stats, and gorillas have quite good defense. It wouldn't be efficient at all if you can't tele there, i prefer to piety there too. I suggest training your slayer, this way you will get it fairly quickly as the monsters you get wont be too challenging, plus it won't be boring as you get a variety. However there are other ways, if you have a salve ammy (e), then killing ankous might be good, or you could just stick to giant spiders or experiments ;) Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig! Otherwise go with something like expirements, better yet yaks, if none of those your last option i suggest is flesh crawlers P.S. clay armor cuts time in half, its well worth it, for a no-cb sc group go to "sc claymates" cc and world 45. trevor92223 Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 honestly, idk.. i was depending you had a salve ammy, but i would imagine yaks are great for you, since pures train there often, you your atk/str will slash through their minute defense.
