Drum kit vectorish sig

blazer

Recommended Posts

I'm really sick at the moment and I'm also bored, thought I'd do something different to the normal pixel sig so I made this sig. I used my own drum kit as a reference. Everything else just came randomly. :P

And the binary code in there is actually my own genetic trait binary code that we did in science. :)

Opinions?

not really a vector... its just a pixel sig in progress..

might wanna work on the lines....

if you expect it to be a vector.

Wow, what an explanation, lol, looks hard to make vectors.

But, on-topic: add more things in the empty space, maybe a eletric guitar or any other instruments.

Actually lp, thats not really vector. thats just anti aliased. You cant have true vector when exported inito a jpg or gif only the look fo one. You can with flash however. Note in my example the difference in the lines. the top line is pixel the second true vector. note how the quality never changes only the size

Mmm lame censor flash cant contain a virus. Flash can abuse javascript when embedded in a browser but cant "hack" tipit thru imageshack pfft

So for it to be a true vector would I have had to have drawn it in flash or photoshop? (of which I have neither).

No. A true vector image isn't made up of pixels, so you wouldn't be able to do this in Photoshop (which is raster-based)

The most you could do to make a true vector in photoshop would be to make paths, and export them to a vector-based program such as Illustrator.

But since it's impossible to publish your vectors as images on the net (in jpg/gif/png form, at least).. Nobody is too strict about how true the vector is.

But still - if you want to make a vector, the very least you have to do is make it entirely by using the pen tool.

Most people refer to photoshop "vectors" as Vexels. These are still created with the pen tool, aswell as a couple other tools.

Anyways, this is still pixel, and very bland. Linework isn't bad, I guess, but it needs a lot more work.

The stuff in the back is so difficult to notice that it looks like a mistake.
