Reducing lag and training range

Hey,

 

I'm going for 99 firemaking. Yes, I know I've gone for every other 99, but this time I have it banked. 92.5k maples :( . Gonna take a long time. Anyway, I have been fming at Rouge's Den, but I know the GE is faster. I do the GE with public off on least populated world with every graphic set to low on standard detail, yet it still lags a bit. Any way to reduce it?

 

 

 

Also, I have 47 range right now. When I take breaks from firemaking, I plan to train it. Where? How? What monster? etc. I have archer's helm plus full green d'hide and ava's attractor.

do you normally lag? if so then its probalby your computer

 

 

 

as to the range slayer might be a decent way to take a break...and wear your attractor while making you fires lol...you will get alot of free arrows

No, I don't normally lag much. It's just at the GE.

i sometimes laf at the ge too...you might try a world closer to your country or just a different place...or just deal with the lag

ummm not really...i was f2p at 49 range so i cant help much, but i think hobgoblins by crafting guild are decent xp even for mems...or yaks i trained 68-70 there only took about 2 hrs if i remember right

Around those lvls I trained on the hill giants near the gnome stronhold, plenty of safespots and they dont punish you too much if you can't find 1 fast enough ;)

 

Also for the lag, are you finding the world with the lowest population? Try switching around to find a world with less people if it bothers you that much.

Never select Australia because it lags so much (unless you live there) select country closet to you have less populated. Close all other windows / tabs. You can fm at duel arena, east fally, or varrock west bank for less peeps. Ogres are a good choice to train on. Other than that, i suggest doing slayer with it.

No, I meant hill giants, moss giants are usually more crowded and is much more competative, hill giants are very relaxing : . But as posted above ogres are good as well, you could also try meleeing pc and cashing in pc points for range, but I've never tried that and don't know if its worth it or not.
