Chatting while trading

I bet most of you here have been in a situation when you are in a crowded world(2 or 1 for example), and trying to buy/sell a certian item. When you finally find a buyer (or seller), you trade with him and you try to negotiate with him, but it is incredibly hard becasue the chat box is flooded with other people selling or buying items. then you close the trade and try to spot the person you traded with in the crowd and then talk about prices then trade again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This happens to me alot and expessially merchanters, so i think that when you are trading with someone you can change the chat sign to "trade only" so you can see what the other player is saying without closing the trade and opening it again, and maybe even having it so that when you are talking in "trade only", nobody else can see what you are saying to him - like a private message. That would also be good because then the chat box (and the air) would have more selling and buying messages rather than negotiations, which means you will find who you're looking for faster.

That works just fine, if your willing to do that with every single person you trade with.

depends on what your doing I never have a problem because I dont trade in crowed places or that often so your stuck with the problem Im afraid

i really really like the idea, i always irritate myself for being such a idiot, to go into crowded areas just to trade :P

What I usually do if i want cash for my items is i offer the item, then after they offer cash, i show them wat i want by offering the correct amount of cash

Yes. Definately. I believe that there is a whole petition on the RS Official Forums that keeps getting locked because of 2000 replies :)
