mage based monsters

Since your mage defence rests in the hand of your magic lvl and im 1 def and 77 mage.

 

 

 

Im in search of a good dropping mage based monster [mage based melee attack or mage based mage attack]

Infernal Mages? If you have 45 slayer...

 

 

 

In my opinion if you want a monster that attacks using mage go to the ZMI and kill the mage's there :) (I think they may be in the chaos tunnels to but don't quote me on that)

 

Only other monsters that i can think of are the Battle Mage's in the arena in level 50 wildy.

 

 

 

However for another efficient way you could cast crumble undead on skeletons/ankou if you can find some safespots, or just tank low level skeletons, zombies and crawling hands with crumble undead.

I have nothing big to ask rly, i just wanted to say that

 

 

 

Mage defence gear seems to influence alot less then your magic level does to your magic defence

 

 

 

For instance when i was training slayer at those Jelly's with karils and other rly good magic def gear at 1 mage, i got hit 9 out of 10 times even with that gear.

The only reason armour is doing naff all for u is because u have 1 def and thus can't get any of the decent mage def bonuses higher end armours supply

you can get black d hide vambs and chaps with 1 def.

 

imo thats pretty decent
