Maples are your best bet, Good luck with 99 FM, and welcome to Tip.It In my opinion, 99 Firemaking is like, well, when you light the logs it's like throwing your money into fire. Yeah, and besides, the price of maples already crashed to the floor price anyway...they couldn't get any lower no matter how many f2p nubs started chopping them. Maple trees are members-only because they only grow in Kandarin. Anyway, you could try mining to pay for your maples. Even if your mining is super-low, you can still get adequate cash off clay and iron in the Varrock west mine, or rune essence.
