bank space from p2p to f2p

Hi...I am confused at what's going to happen to your bank account when your subscription expire and you didn't pay for another term... What's going to happen with all your item in the bank( let's say 300+)...do they just get deleted according to the least monetary value first or something?..

I'm not a p2p but just want to get the logistic so my p2p experience won't be a disaster if i have the chance to be one..

All of your items will remain. They will be unusable in f2p and will all be called 'members items'. Any members item you have equipped will stay equipped, howevere if you unequip them you won't be able to put them on. If you have over the f2p bank space limit you will not be able to put items into your bank, unless you already have an item as a placeholder. For example, if you have 1 rune hatchet in your bank and you buy a new one, you can withdraw and deposite it, but if you withdraw both rune axes you will not be able to deposite either. If you become a member again, all of your items will return to their usable, normal state.

I mean the confusing part is some website says (Runescape Wikia's Bank article) that you have to take out all the item in the bank until it's the f2p limit..so in that case you pretty much have to "dispose" of the 300+ member item like dropping them or sell them...is that true?

that contradict what mister_moocky said earlier...i thought there would be conflict on this issue....can someone please get a right and definite answer?....my initial reaction was you keep all item but can't access items past the f2p limit...which items get to be available in f2p will be another story, but i think this is quite important as the economic situation right now might have some entering these p2p-f2p-p2p transition stage...(in my opinion...i know i might if i was a p2p, so that's why i'm asking..)

so is your over-the-f2p-limit items just discarded, kept but inaccessible, converted into equivalent cash(like some minigame), or some other response?..

thanks...

if you have more than the limit for f2p bank when you lose members, all the items stay

HOWEVER, you can not deposit anything that does not already have a place holder

to prepare for that, just before members is lost, buy2 of every f2p item and bank it. that way you can withdraw something but it can be deposited again. do NOT withdraw any items from thebank that would cause it to have 0 of that type in the bank (dont withdraw the last) and you are fine. for stacks, just makesure you hit withdraw all but 1, not just ALL

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

You will keep all items, F2P or P2P.

You will be able to access all F2P items. However, if you do not have multiples, you will not be able to put it back in. Nothing can be done with member items other than put back in if you have multiples or dropped.

There's a link at the bottom of my post to a guide I wrote on exactly this: going to f2p with a full bank. I switch from members to f2p and back all the time, and I actually have almost 200 usable f2p items that I can withdraw and deposit while I'm in f2p without losing any value in my bank, and if and when I decide to go back to members, my stuff is still all there.

Like everybody else was trying to explain, as long as you leave at least 1 of an item in the bank, you can continue to store that item, and it doesn't matter if you're over your limit or not. You don't have to get rid of anything if you check out my guide. It explains the idea completely.

Are you a member with a full bank and cancelling your subscription? Are you an F2P player that wants more bank space? Check out my guide on Going to F2P with a full bank
