Knotch_Blade
I want to learn how to program Java, not Javascript this summer (I've heard they're two different languages). Anyone know a good collection of tutorials/books I could get to achieve this goal? dsavi
Here, I found a realy nifty guide. That was completely uncalled for. There's a Wikibook on it, I don't know the quality of it but I've found most programming Wikibooks to be good enough to get a general idea. And yes, Java and JavaScript are two completely different languages. :P

obfuscator
Thanks mate. I'll try it tonight. I suggest you look on amazon.com; a basic Java textbook would be very useful. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
Knotch_Blade
I plan on checking out my local library and search there. My Gamercard | Click for Blog | Mining Guide | Illumination
Makoto_the_Phoenix
Start here; the Java tutorials do a great job of explaining the first few nuisances and confusions for a beginner. I personally found the Wikibook to be a bit too full of filler, but it's alright. I'd go with the Java tutorials though.
