Questions about chinning

Featured Replies

OK, Im currently at 86 Hunting and Im catching my own chins to POSSIBLY train range, but Im not sure about the detalis to chinning.

I one time helped my friend chin under ape atoll at skeletal monkies(if thats what they are called?) but somewhere I had read that Jagex nerfed this method of training range... Is this true?

Another thing, Is that currently the best place to chin? or do any of you guys have places that you would rather chin?

Lastly, I want to save up for a bgs, have plenty of gear, so dont really have anything else I want to buy. My current range level is only 66, what is your opinion, Sell the chins? or keep them and boost my range level?

Any advice would be much obliged :)

Sell the chins, and keep the cash.

Train to 80 range with a normal method, then...

Use the remainder of the cash to buy normal chinchompa (I repeat, grey chinchompa). Do not use red chins, as you will get far less experience as you would with grey ones. It will take you slightly longer to level, but will get you a higher range.

I think you just have to pick up the bones or something to keep them packed together.

oook, so DO not train with reds, and what weapon would you suggest then bladewing? I just want something for slayer that will make it more entertaining

Honestly, Whip + Defender and Sara Sword are the way to go, Sara Sword should only be used to train strength though.

BGS is only good if you boss hunt in teams. I had it once, sure, I used it all the time, hell, I even trained to 99 Attack with it from the time I got it.

Heh, don't assume about me.I only have around 35m (masks (blue+red) + cash).

Besides, I meant the Saradomin Sword which another user kindly posted a link to.

I would never reccomend a Godsword for training. Do it if you want however, but if you want the fastest experience, it means not using them.

mk sorry about that yea, sara sword sounds much more reasonable, I even typed sara sword in my post thats a major ftl :wall:

K guys thanks for the advice keep the range advice coming to, It sounds like ill sell my red chins and at around lv 80 buy grays or maybe even hunt them but who knows, if someone has a different experiance please let me know :)

If you want Cheap Range experience, then Bone Crossbow and Bolts at Blue Dragons (Yay! Profit!)

If you want slower, but more profit, then Rune Crossbow + Emerald (e) at Black Dragons (or at least mith bolts, but I always suggest Emerald (e))

Sure, these aren't the fastest, but it nets you more profit, if you can stand to do the Black Dragons, there is even the chance of a Visage.
