ok.. bascially there is a family where the scientist father studies sharks...

this is because the sharks are too smart to do it while the cameras are rolling...

basically shark week sucks unless you like reality shows and sharks.

I like documentaries if they're about war or animals. Either one works.

i watched one show...

 

the father and his wife and 3 small sons.. oldest 9 or 13...

 

the kids are all blonde.

 

they actually showed strife in the family when the grandfather went back to the mainland as part of a tantrum because his daughter-in-law won't cook meat for him..

 

since she was doing the cooking.. she had a veggie week planned out.

 

they got into an argument and [cabbage] because the grandfather is a chauvinistic pig and she says that she doesn't want to bring her sons up that way

 

while the grandfather is gone.. the scientist guy who's studying sharks.. is building a project.. and has a harder time becauese there isn't a man to help them build it...

 

everyone realises this..

 

the grandfather comes back on his own a changed man.. bringing his own ration of food...

 

the wife is more understanding...

 

i stopped watching because it wasn't much about sharks..

 

when its about sharks i want to see sharks..
