I've only seen one of the Star Wars movies, I think it was IIV, but I've seen (and read) all of LotR.

I tried reading when i was younger but couldn't get through it.

 

The movies in my opinion are among the if not the best movies ever. Certainly for the genre. Really the only thing i can think of to compete is Inception, that just blew me away.
