I don't get the concept of colours being girl or guy colours. Makes no sense to me.

I don't mind pink. Some people say its a girl color, but I don't buy into that. Its just a color, same as any other.

I would guess it's due to the different effects colors have on our brain, so colors our brain associates with aggression and whatnot we consider masculine.

as i understand it the object is to kick the ball away from them, not specifically to trip them, thats just what ends up happening.

I do, and I think it is.

 

I consider competitions that are non-contact "games". Contact is a sport. If you aren't allowed to use your body to your advantage and aren't willing to risk likely/plausible bodily harm it's not much of a competition, its more of a skills test.
