I have to miss a parade. For a chorus concert.

 

Seriously, Ithaca Festival is the be-all end-all experience here, to quote a mumbling demi-hippy friend of my mother's. I is sad. At least it's cooler today.

 

Also, chorus rehearsal interrupted by fire. No one knows where, but after we sang we were tasting smoke and the new (ear-destroying) alarms were going off.

So what did we do?

Walked outside and sang in the parking lot blocking the fire trucks.
