The posters stay in one spot and keep watch for any bears pushed out of hiding by drivers. Drivers walk through dense areas yelling and whooping and hollering nonsense (vocal spamming) to push the bears out of the thick area to where the drivers can see them. If there ever was an appropriate activity for /FG/ to do, it would be bear hunting/driving. Where's Furrlo? My trigger finger is itchy. It probably would have been heavier, but there was little food in the area. Apparently an early frost killed a lot of stuff like acorns and cherries that they normally eat, so it possibly could have been a lot bigger. Another note:I read a story whilst up there about a bear that they kept track of that I guess lived for 35 years and never really got over 180 lbs. So I guess some bears just don't get all that big.
