So usually I wear red d'hide with the obby shield.

 

 

 

Know of anything better?

 

Better I mean in two ways:

 

A) Lightest

 

B) Strongest without super draining my run

well usually people use a spirit terror bird for the tireless run scroll, if you can i would advise using them.

And black dhide obviously but you'd have to train your range for abit.

Do NOT use Terrorbird. Abyssal familiars beat them in the long run (ironic isn't it?).

 

 

 

Here's my best setup:

 

 

 

Head: Bearhelm

 

Ammy: Fury (glory works fine)

 

Top: Larupia

 

Bottom: Black dhide chaps (in your case, red)

 

Gloves: Penance Gloves (if you don't have them, take best rfd or regen bracelet.

 

Boots: Lightness

 

Cape: Spottier

 

Weapon: Earth staff

 

Shield: Crystal shield

 

 

 

Use the crystal shield trick to keep the shield at 10/10 at all times.

 

 

 

This outfit gets you over 100 in all the melee defense (I think ~150 for slash). Your ranged defense is ~100. Your magic defense is ~60. Your weight is 1 kg.

I'm wielding a pretty "special" set: don't see it often (strangely).. - It focusses on melee defense though (so you would pray mage), but my armour I wield (which is exactly 0 kg) :

 

 

 

what I wield is: 3 pouches, laws/astralls, lava bstaff, and as armour:

 

-bear helmet (amazing defense at 0 kg)

 

-glory (fury is better but requires amulet switching: useless)

 

-lightning cape

 

-boots of lighnes

 

-pennace gloves (all needed for 0 kg)

 

-sc armour (melee) top

 

-sc armour (melee) bottom (This is something very little people know, but sc armour also weights only 1kg)

 

-blessed spirit shield
