What would be the best strategy for me when playing sc?(No, never done sc :oops: ) How would you play sc with my stats, or is there a skill I should raise before trying to get as much points as possible?

well, looks like you are 60 in wc, fish, and mining so gather those. I would suggest getting 60 smithing to make c4 tools. it speeds thing up.

 

 

 

i really cant give tips on combat, but i suggest only gathering first few times to get a feel for the game. took me about 2-3 games to understand what was going on.

youd better get ur smith up till 60 or hope for some gentle pll to give you some lvl4 tools. idd wc and fish and use the clay to make lvl 4 arrows. when the game is allmost over, run to ur base and deposit all the arrows you made.

This is what I do...Scout for about a minute to see what kind of c4 is there..gather 1 clay and make the highest tool of the kind of c4 there is out there and go gather some more...Once you have full inventory, go make a summoning pouch, 8 scrolls (1 clay = 4 scrolls) and the rest make arrows (i hope you decide to get to 60 smithing, it'll really benefit you)... Once your done, summon ur familiar and run back to the spot you were in. Fill your familiar and your inventory and go to the kiln again and make arrows and some mage equipment and runes.. If the base is far from the kiln, just put ur arrows into ur familiar and use your summoning scroll. This will deposit all of the items on your familiar to the base and will give you points. Once your at about 20k points, go pk with mage...I usually pk for 10-14 minutes, all depending on how quick I am to get 20k points.

 

 

 

Tip: Have some of your runes in your familiar since you can be pickpocketed and you might lose the runes.

edit: if you don't wanna mage, then simply just go and range in range armour etc, since there's a lot of mages and they usually stay away from the rangers. You'll have a lot of fun, trust me ;) It's only about 40% work out of the entire game time..The rest is just funning and owning :) Oh and if you want, I feel like playing sc today...I can show you some stuff and can make you arrows, just let me know on here if you're interested.

I gather the first clay I see, and while doing that I glance around for nearby clay of a higher level. Once spotted I make a tool of that level. If it is c3 or c4 I make one of each tool. I then run around the map in search of any c5 clay. I gather that clay, make the appropriate tool and continue collecting from that c5 if a kiln isn't too far off.

 

 

 

If a kiln is very far away I will only collect enough clay to make myself each tool, a mage hat, chaps, leather body, and a c5 dagger. I would then go in search of c4 or c5 that is closer to a kiln. I will either skill all game or switch off to combat based on the spawns. Sometimes aggressive action must be taken to chase the enemy away from their spawns if yours were poor.

 

 

 

I generally skill all game just because I enjoy it. I give some handouts of c5 or offer to make whatever is needed if they supply the clay. I usually get 100-140k as a score each game. I believe my best was over 165k though. The points aren't much different between that score and a score of 20 or 30k, but I enjoy it. It also helps the team get the win, and when you play clan games like I do a win has some meaning.
