June 12, 200917 yr Ok, I've been practicing with Photoshop and think I'm getting the hang of it... I tried using some color theory (Red, yellow, blue) and tried blending the sig together a bit more. I have no idea what happened on the right side. Overall, I think it's better than most of my other ones. C/C
June 12, 200917 yr No blending. You need the render to blend into the background some. Pick colors that match the render, yellow and blue do not match that render. I think the background by itself would be interesting... But that render's not that great, there's a bunch of white on the left side of his hood... You don't want that. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube
June 12, 200917 yr 1) The render is fringed - when you find a render don;t just copy it on it's page with the background, click on it for full size, save it, then open with photoshop 2) Over-saturated background - The background is a VERY fundamental part of the signature - I know you probably haven't, but in all honesty the background looks incredibly rushed. Yes, blue and orange are complimentary colours, but not when they are over-saturated :P 3) Composition - there is no depth here. The position of the render is boring, placing it on the left or right of the signature will make it look more dynamic. You are getting the hang of it, though you still have much to learn. I would reccomend looking at some PSD files - you can download some of my PSD's on the Tip.It Graphics Resource sticky at the top of this forum. If no-one has not suggested this yet, I would recommend checking out signature tutorials on deviantART: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§i ... e+tutorial 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
June 12, 200917 yr Author The render just had that white line on it (even after I enlarged it). I suppose I could've erased it at the very least. I have read some sig and blending tutorials actually. In fact, for most of the sigs I've made, I just followed a tutorial with a different stock or render :?. I've been trying to make sigs completely on my own though. Thanks for the input so far though :
June 12, 200917 yr I just remembered seeing that render; alas, it did have fringing before you found it lemeja. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
