June 15, 200917 yr I'm an avid Slayer, and I just wanted to know which tasks (if any) are better taken on with the Void Knight Range set rather than regular ranging armour. I imagine Prayer tasks could be good, but I don't know specifics. Maybe I'm wrong, and Void is useless to Slayers :lol: Any thoughts? SLAYERGEEK
June 15, 200917 yr The only void that's good for slaying is the range one. Since you can use the Black Mask/Slayer Helm on tasks, the full void melee is kinda pointless. Since you're cutting out the helm, the spot for the mask. The torso and legs, spot for defense armor, prayer armor, or mage def armor. And the Gloves which can be replaced with the Barrow RFD Gloves. June 15, 200917 yr Depends on whether you mean void melee or void range. Void melee is useless during slayer if you have a slayer helmet. Void range however is very useful during some tasks.

If you need mage def while on task then Black D'hide/Karils will work just fine. June 15, 200917 yr Void range is a very useful set to have when range slaying. You can best use it during tasks with low defence. I use it during greater demons, black demons, bloodvelds, cave horrors, terror dogs, warped tortoises and turoths.
June 15, 200917 yr On lower defense monsters (really any task) Void speeds up training and the overall task. Also remember range pots are pretty cheap, you should always be using them.
