GWD and Tormented Demons

Anyways... I am wondering if the demons are semi solo-able at my current level. I realize that higher range would greatly help but it would be more for fun right now than for serious killing. If or when I seriously want to hunt them would a unicorn be god-send there? I have enough charms banked for 79 possibly 80. I am on my way towards 85 slayer and will have quite high summoning by then.

 

 

 

About GWD I am wondering how easy I could get into a team. I am thinking bandos to start since my range level isn't exactly high. Do I need to range for sara? I know the room was shrunk to half size so I don't see how anyone could tank the main boss with her special abiltiy. Please enlighten. : Should I get 90 in atk and str before trying for any team? A higher range level? I have never been there to boss hunt but I have been in there killing aviansies ect.

--edit-- About gear I currently use barrows and whip/defender. I have a sara sword and DFS. I do NOT have a god sword or the current funds to buy one. Are they quite nice for boss hunting? I hear both yes and no. I have almost 7 million cash on hand, over 2 million in my coffers and a few million in other misc items.

Your stats are good enough to solo demons but higher range would definately help a lot ;) Also, unicorn is an advantage so getting 88 sum is worth it but war tortoise is also a good option...

 

 

 

For GWD, you don't need to range sara, at least when your in a team. (High lvl teams use melee all the time.) If you want to solo sara, ranging is by far the best option.

 

 

 

About the weapons: whip plus defender beats godswords but the idiots at rsof dont know that yet :wall:

Only if your 95+ attack and strength. At your, his and my levels whip will miss too much.

 

Don't believe me try a solo with whip+def then with a GS, theres a noticeable difference. The whip+def is better at higher levels which is where you've heard it (most likely compfreak).

 

 

 

The first thing you'll be asked if you say your taking will will be "att/str level?", under 90 on both will result in "no get a gs".

 

 

 

Then you have to think about the specials all are helpful if used right (zgs must be used on the melee guy and not the boss).

 

 

 

Your good enough for a nice team, but lend a GS first (if I'm in game I normally lend it for my max (48k) upto 3 hours or upto 10 hrs just before I log out for the night) and you'll have no hassle at all.

yea, compfreak used to say that :shock: He stopped playing rs? Had an argument once where he said whip+def beats gs while I tried to convince him that the higher accuracy of a gs was better at lower att lvls. Didn't know when whip starts to be better... ;)

 

 

 

btw: I wont try soloing using melee, not even in a team, 80/82 is to low so I prefer ranging kree/zilyana
