Im not sure... depends how good you are at it... but I believe actually that method 2 is even faster by about 50ish more dragon scales per hour :)

Nice to see this put into a guide! I used it when I first got mems and made about 2m in a week. It really is good cash, although I used falador teleport, and only got 25 scales per inventory.
