How do i kill a archer monkey with out getting caught for the greegree i need?

Mage him using ice barrage. That way he can't move or get away from you ;).

 

Oh, and remember to have protect from range and a super anti pot.

If you stand on an angle to the stores/buildings only the monkey and the odd spider will get you. Once its dead put on your gree and pick up the bones.

...or climb onto the roofs of the town buildings. there are a few archer monkeys up there you can kill.
