Danqazmlp
I know the games a few months old now, but it is quite a good game. (only picked it up a few days ago) In short, its one of the best movie-tie-in games i've ever played. I shouldn't need to explain the storyline to you, it's fairly self explanitory. Just wondering if anybody else has it and played it? If anybody hasn't, these few vids might make you want to [hide=Warning, lots and lots of gore][yt]QO9vza3CPls[/yt] [yt]M9OTxJ_idGk[/yt][/hide] In those vids you can't relaly see one of my favorite parts of the game, the active healing/regeneration and damage on wolverine himself. It is incredible to see, and i'd love some other games to use it. When wolverine gets short/damaged, it will actually rip open his flesh, tear chunks out of him, and if damaged enough you can see right down to his skeleton. Its also quite cool seeing a cutscene after, as his t-shirt doesen't repair (its good they did that, would have annoyed me if it did), so you have massive holes in it, or like me at the end of some levels none at all. In the trailer above, you see the part where he's in a tunnel on the back of a truk, and another truck flies over the top and the camera sweeps really close past the side of wolverine, at that moment i had just been shot up real bad, and half of his side was blown right open, exposing his ribs, and as the camera swept past, you could see it in so much detail close up regenerating. Dizzle229
By all accounts it SHOULD be a generic game, but I just can't bring myself to say it's a bad game. I think it's generic, but it's addicting. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
Kiriyama
Got pretty much every trophy except the one for all Dog Tags. Been meaning to get around to it. The active healing is pretty good, though considering what the PS3 should be capable of, the damage shown looked to be a bit iffy. The combat is pretty good, though some button mashing parts (Damn Sentinel) are damn near impossible. One part took around 7 hours worth of attempts. This has to be the best movie tie-in game ever. It's not half-assed, infact, it's almost a seperate entity at parts, only borrowing parts from the movie, such as some plot parts, locations and battles. Thankfully it added more depth to the Jungle war parts, along with the Jungle mutants (C'mon, who didn't like ripping out a Levathian's head?). While the gore is a major part of the game, the story is good, and is left open for another game by the ending. Poppet
Looks a little too bloody than it needs to be I would have liked it to be T like the movie truely even through I still need to see it. -.-
Kiriyama
It needed to be bloody. It's about a guy with freaking retractable claws! If anything, the movie needed to be more bloody. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
Harakiri
I played it when it first came out. Another generic beat em' up with unattractive environments, boring boss fights, more enemies to fight than is neccesary, and overall is not impressive. Still do we need more blood seems like the game is centralizing upon it rather than the actual gameplay the game looks like other M+ games terror etc.

WHY DO THEY HAVE SO MUCH BLOOD IN THEM! I always find strange when someone wants to be able to chop off heads and not see any blood.
Danqazmlp
Wow, i did the sentinel part last night, and that was truly epic. That thing rivals serious sam size bosses, it was jsut that big. At least, i 'think' it was the sentinal part everybody talks about, because i managed to do it first try without any troubles, and i'm playing on the hardest difficulty available to me : When it fist jumped up there, even though i knew i had to fight it, a massive grin appeared on my face due to the x-man fan inside me knowing just how incredible those things are. Only annoying thing was, surely even wolverine couldn't survive how he takes it out in the end... Want to be my friend? Kiriyama
You bastard! You beat the button mashing of (circle on PS3, dunno the rest) on your first attempt? I don't even have a 100% success rate no matter what difficulty. Though it seems about the same speed on all of them. Infact, even on the hardest, the game is piss easy. Except during the final boss battle when you jump prematurely and get owned by laser, or when he fires it off when you are that near him, you can't dodge. I'm guessing he survived because he was slowed down in the way he took it out. And you know, he's [bleep]ing immortal. Danqazmlp
Finished it today, tbh a bit dissapointed with the ending. [hide=spoiler]The deadpool and sabretooth were easy to kill, and the whole island level was incredibly short, if you can even call it a level. Feels like the game would have been better the other way around, with the deadpool things erlier on, and the sentinel at the end, would have been a more epic ending, it felt like a bit of a faded ending imo. And i got a bit bored chasing after gambit, that bit could have been a bit shorter imo[/hide] Was still a good game though, unlocked the 3 costumes, but what's that fourth unlockable at the bottom? Harakiri
They ruined Deadpool, and for that, I must say that they ruined everything awesome about the movie/game. Deadpool sucked in the movie, he was like a teenage kid... Compare him to this:
Danqazmlp
I haven't seen the movie, but in the game he doesen't look anything like that middle picture. I would sa that it looks just like those comic pics, except not red, its bald, got lines, tatoos or something all over its body, and is real bad-[wagon]. Want to be my friend? Kiriyama
Ratchet, do you know the meaning behind the "Origins" part? It goes further back into the past. Logan still had a normal skeleton with the claws when Deadpool was a kid. Plus he was pretty much a goddamn robot in the movie, you can't expect much. Oh, and it's a movie. You can't expect 100% accuracy. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
Harakiri
I know that it was origins, but any Deadpool fan knows he had cancer. And he was crazy, psychotic. As a kid he never was a superhero, he just decided to do so after they let him out of the looney bin mostly because he was crazy. The movie did not represent the character as well as it could have. That's why they are making a Deadpool movie, because everyone was pissed that they screwed up the character in the movie.
Kiriyama
Do you actually expect 100% accuracy in films? Look at any "historical" films. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
Harakiri
Do you actually expect 100% accuracy in films? Look at any "historical" films. I don't expect accuracy, but I expect that with a comic book movie not ruin characters. Source material has always been used quite well in comic book movies, but I felt that making Deadpool a kid like that was stupid.
