I really don't want to block them right now because I'm only 70 Points off from my Slayer Helm. Stats are in my sig.

 

 

 

I'd prefer to Range or Mage them (no Prayer Pots = less cost and more inventory space) but if worst comes to worst I'll use melee. Basically...

 

 

 

Are my levels high enough to efficiently kill them without Melee?

 

 

 

If so, which style should I use, Range or Magic?

 

 

 

What would be the best setup? (Inventory, gear, etc.)

 

 

 

Or should I just block them and wait for my 50-task bonus?

If you're close to the bonus and you really don't want to take them on, just block 'em.

 

 

 

I meleed a set of 48 yesterday, though, and your stats are comparable or better than mine. It's not fast, but use the guide on this site and make your own decision about it, I'd say.

Personally I blocked them as they take forever to kill for bad exp.

You should block before you buy the slayer helmet.

 

The difference is that you don't have to spend time doing tasks you hate, or that take a long time. Meaning your getting points quicker.

I always found the tasks to be annoying even with all stats above 90, however maging them is very easy, fast, and accurate.

 

But if you want melee exp, go for it. :
